MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME
Paid Work Experience Programme
Our Paid Work Experience Programme gives Youth Panel members the chance to earn a wage while gaining hands-on experience in roles within YVA. Participants work directly with our team in areas like project coordination, event planning, communications, and community outreach.
This programme gives young people the opportunity to develop practical skills and gain real-world experience by taking on meaningful responsibilities. They are supported by YVA staff, who provide guidance and feedback to help them grow their confidence and abilities in a professional setting.
Participants not only contribute to YVA’s work but also benefit from a paid opportunity that helps them build career pathways.
Impact:
The Paid Work Experience Programme helps rangatahi build confidence, develop skills, and gain valuable experience for their future careers. It also ensures they are supported in their professional growth while contributing meaningfully to YVA’s work.
