TAP INTO THE UNTAPPED VOICES

Youth Voices Action connects you with young people who might not always be the loudest in the room but who have important insights and ideas
Organisations know the value of youth perspectives, but it’s not always easy to connect with the kids who don’t step forward on their own. YVA provides the structure and support to bring these young people into the conversation.
We help you bring fresh perspectives into your programmes by connecting you with these often-overlooked voices.
ORGANISATIONS, ARE OUR ADVOCATES FOR YOUTH
Youth Voices Action empowers young people (aged 13-24) across the Bay of Plenty to take an active role in shaping their futures. Our work focuses on Mental Health and Wellbeing, Leadership Development, Education, and Social Media Advocacy, creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, develop skills, and engage meaningfully with their communities.
HOW WE WORK WITH ORGANISATIONS
We work with schools, community organisations, and service providers to engage young people from diverse backgrounds. Through these partnerships, we createspaces where young people can build skills, connect with others, and take on leadership roles.
A key part of what we offer is contract-based research and youth engagement services. Organisations can hire us to gather feedback from young people or run tailored youth panels that provide meaningful insights for their programmes or initiatives. This contract work not only ensures our charity remains sustainable but also, when possible, allows us to pay young people for their involvement, giving them practical experience and recognition for their contributions.
If you’re a school or organisation interested in working with us, fill out the contact form below, and someone from our team will be in touch shortly.
We believe that long-term collaboration and thoughtful engagement lead to positive outcomes. Together, we are building an inclusive community where every young person has the chance to grow, participate, and make an impact.
